Damage and Returns

I confess I sometimes live as if You're not here, rushing through my days without pausing to acknowledge Your presence, crowding You out with noise and busyness and my own plans.

Teach me what it means to truly host You, not just in my words or worship but in how I think, speak, and respond, in the ordinary moments I forget to invite You into.

You are not far off waiting to be summoned but already here, already close, already longing to fill every room I open to You.

Help me create space for You in the places I've kept You out, in my frustrations, my fears, my private thoughts, the areas of my life I haven't yet surrendered.
